Now, whether you are a keen golfer or simply play for the fun of it, availing of a golfing vacation in order to catch up on some well-needed rest as well as to hone your golfing skills could be the right thing to do. While you may have the view that such vacations are steeply priced, actually there is a range of golf vacations tailored to meet every kind of budget. Right from modest accommodation to luxury hotels and resort package deals, there are lots of options to choose from.
Hence, if you wish to unwind, as well as take to some golfing action on the course, then the following are some useful tips about selecting golf vacations.
Choosing Exclusive Golf Resorts
A great way to enjoy some golf while vacationing is to be put up at an exclusive golfing resort. Now, these places are especially designed with golf as the major attraction, and normally the vacation includes access to golf greens as well as other golfing amenities.
Thus, you can soak up the serene atmosphere of the lovely resort and quietly enjoy a round of golf too. These resorts certainly are well equipped as they are built exclusively for golfers. But, the golf courses at these resorts are usually quite identical, and in all probability you will tend to pay a lot more for these holiday packages than you would for a standard vacation.
Create Your Personal Golf Vacations
Now, creating your personal golf vacations is a further marvelous way of mixing golf and relaxation. You can check into a standard hotel or an apartment and perhaps look around for some golfing facilities available in the neighborhood.
This will provide you with a better chance to do things in addition to golf, particularly when you are with people, who are not as passionate about golf as you are. You have the liberty to select your own golf courses and you can choose to reside close to a few of the best golf course in the world. While not specially devoted to golf as an exclusive golfing resort, this alternative is best for people who wish to take a vacation as well as get some golfing action.
Check Out The Course
Prior to embarking on your golf vacation, it is prudent to take a look at the golf courses available. Now these could be the neighborhood golf courses or the golfing resort courses, but whatever it is, ensure that you go on a golf vacation that suits your requirements.
For instance, if you wish to play on a course that provides quite a challenge, then you need to ensure that the golf course you choose is not an elementary golf course. Moreover, bear in mind that you should not check into shoddy hotels in order to meet premium golf course usage charges. You need to strike a fine balance between vacation, recreation and golf. Now, by doing this, you will discover the finest golf vacations that suit your requirements.

Golf Conditioning- Being in Shape for a Better Game

Golf conditioning is the training of golf related muscles for improving your game of golf.  Golf training is one approach that can greatly improve any restriction that may occur during the golf swing in regards to golf posture. Proper preparation is a great way to: increase driving distance & club speed, improve focus and concentration, and prevent and rehabilitate injuries to enhance sport specific-movements.  This will  increase strength, speed and power. Physical conditioning is even more beneficial when it is started during the winter months to prepare the bodyfor the stresses it will endure during the golf season.  Golf conditioning is about strength and flexibility, which is no longer reserved for a select few.

Golf exercise is a physically challenging program that uses most of the muscles in the body. It combines strength training, but in a way that won’t bulk you up or affect your swing.  Golf posture is critical to golf swing consistency and efficiency. Conditioning specific for golf will not result in muscle gain which could alter your swing mechanics.  Golf conditioning is intended to help a golfer perform better on the course by evaluating the biomechanics, flexibility, and strength of the golfer in relation to the physical movements of the body during the swing. Golf conditioning is the training of golf related muscles to improve the game of golf.

Fitness for golf is prevalent at every level. Fitness is a state of the human body that allows it to function up to its full potential.  Fitness can also determine the overall health of all the organs.  Search out a fitness professional or golf conditioning specialist to design a golf specific program and you will play better than youever imagined.  It puts a whole new light on golfing and on what is needed for complete fitness information about golf conditioning. The information about golf conditioning will focus on improving golf mechanics through the creation of a complete program.

In conjunction with a stretching program, strength training will improve flexibility, not hinder it. How many times have you heard a teaching pro say you need to improve your golf posture, but didn’t give you any golf conditioning drills to achieve that goal. You will quickly notice an improvement in your ability to maintain an erect spine angle. When you improve functional strength, you have more control and balance, which will improve your feel.

Comprehensive golf conditioning is an individualized program designed to improve your golf game by strengthening your body through a range of golf specific options. A conditioning coach will design a program to help you improve your performance on the golf course.  This program will improve your golf game and your overall health and well-being.  Most golfers continually strive to improve even when they are playing at the top of their game.

Golf Conditioning or golf fitness refers to performing exercises that are designed specifically to improve muscle groups and parts of the body most required when golfing. Exercises for golfers may seem like an oxymoron, but I’m here to tell you they are most definitely not. Exercises such as good mornings, and rows are excellent to strengthen hip flexion and back extension.

The golf swing is such an unusual motion that yes, you can do traditional exercises, but you also need to do exercises that will cross over into different planes. A good golf conditioning program includes exercises that increase the core stability, increase muscular strength, improve flexibility, balance and coordination.  And a well developed program should not only focus on taking care of improving the obvious needs of golf, but should also include exercises that target specific muscular imbalances, lack of range of motion, cardiovascular endurance, and a little weight loss if necessary.

Golf conditioning is one approach that can greatly improve any restriction that may occur during the golf swing in regards to golf posture. This physical training is a form of strength and conditioning designed specifically to improve your efficiency and effectiveness as it relates to your Golf Swing.

Golf Conditioning is not just for the pro’s, it’s beneficial for players of all levels of ability helping to improve your game and to prolong your playing days. this is a gradual process, always keeping technique and competition as the ultimate goal. Golf conditioningis exploding, and a lot of trainers, therapists and even chiropractors are jumping on the bandwagon. Golf conditioning is extremely important to all golfers, including you, and becomes more so the older you get. Planing out a proper routine with or without help could greatly enhance your game and your score.

Develop The Correct Golf Swing For Women With Golf Fitness Training

The woman golfer has a myriad of questions on how to develop the correct golf swing as does most any amateur. The questions from woman golfers center on a myriad of topics such as; how to hit the golf ball farther, how to develop a more repeatable golf swing, how do I hit half shots with my wedges, what are good putting drills? The list can go on and on in relation to the woman golfer and how to improve their golf swing. An area that is now presenting more and more questions from the woman golfer centers upon golf fitness. Questions such as; what are good golf flexibility exercises, and how can golf fitness exercises help me drive the golf farther? These and many more questions are arising in relation to golf fitness and the woman golfer.
It is well known on the LPGA tour the number of players utilizing golf fitness programs to improve their golf game. Annika Sorrenstam has publicly stated the benefits she has received in her golf game from golf fitness training. One area that always appears to be a concern for the woman golfer is distance. How to hit the golf ball farther and Sorrenstam does hit the ball a long way, and utilizes golf fitness training. A simple connection can be drawn between increased driving distance, women golfers, and golf fitness exercises. The bottom line is this; golf fitness exercises can benefit the distance of drives for the woman golfer.
The questions that need to be answered are how and why. First off an understanding of increased distance, the golf swing, and the woman golfer needs to be addressed. Driving distance is contingent upon clubhead speed. The faster the clubhead is traveling at impact with the golf ball. The golf ball will travel farther, an easily understood concept.
Clubhead speed in the golf swing is contingent upon two components. Component number one is golf swing mechanics. The biomechanics of the golf swing in and of themselves create clubhead speed. It centers upon physics and the coiling/uncoiling of the body during the golf swing. In relation to improving clubhead speed and golf swing mechanics. The more efficient the woman golfer performs the mechanics of the golf swing. A greater amount of energy can be developed and transferred into the golf ball as a result. First and foremost for the woman golfer; the development of efficient golf swing mechanics can improve driving distance.
The second component of increasing clubhead speed is the body. Remember, the body is the implement swinging the golf club. It is the woman’s body executing the biomechanics of the golf swing. In addition it is also the body generating power for the golf swing. Power is the ability of the body to generate the greatest amount of force in a short amount of time. Increase the ability of the body to generate more power within the biomechanics of the golf swing. An increase in clubhead speed can occur. How does the woman golfer increase power outputs of their body? This is where the implementation of golf fitness exercises can be a benefit. Golf fitness exercises can increase the power outputs of the body. Power golf fitness exercises increase the ability of your muscles to develop more force within the golf swing.
How do golf fitness exercise achieve this outcome? Golf fitness exercises develop the body around the golf swing: Very different than ordinary fitness training or aerobic classes. Golf fitness exercises develop the required flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power within the body for the golf swing. This allows the body to execute the biomechanics of the golf swing correctly. In addition, golf fitness exercises can improve the swing in areas such as clubhead speed.
This is accomplished with golf fitness exercises training the body in the positions, movements, and physical requirements of the golf swing. This allows for the proper levels of flexibility, balance, endurance, strength, and power to be developed within the body. Improving the capacities of flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power can improve the ability of the body to perform the golf swing and increase distance.
To summarize, the questions surrounding women and developing the correct golf swing are many. How to improve the golf swing through golf fitness exercises is one of these questions, and one specific area within this topic is distance. Increasing distance is contingent upon increasing clubhead speed. Improving clubhead speed centers upon golf swing mechanics and the body. Improving the efficiency of the golf swing mechanics will allow a greater transfer of energy into the golf club, thus improving clubhead speed. The second component of distance lies within the body and its ability to generate power. Increasing the power outputs of the body will enhance clubhead speed. Power outputs of the body can be improved through golf fitness exercises. These exercises differ than normal gym based exercises in that they develop the body around the swing. This allows for the proper levels of flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power to be developed within the golf swing.

Use Your Golf Swing Training Aid Consistently And You Will See Results

Every golfer has a swing fault he or she fights for their entire golfing career! This is a true statement among 80% or more of the golfing population. The consistent use of a golf swing training aid, that is specific to your swing fault will do wonders to your golf swing and performance.

Please remember this!

Any training aid for golf needs to be specific to your golf swing fault. Not your golfing buddies. Not your own swing instructor. Specific to YOUR swing fault!

I am a firm believer in a total golf performance improvement program, and using training aids is part of the program. You see…training aids can help you work on a specific swing fault and groove the correct move to cure it. If you’re a slicer, you need to correct a certain move in your golf swing. Same with a hook ball hitter, topper, thinner, etc.

Unfortunately there are hundreds of products on the market promising the world but never delivering. Don’t fall into the “hype trap!” These companies pay thousands of dollars to marketing specialists who will hit every hot button on your body.

With that being said, you need a combination of a golf swing aid and improving your body’s physical ability via golf strength and stretching exercises. This is the ultimate combination for long-term golf success.

If your body has physical limitations, it will be difficult to successfully train with your new training aid and see results. Your body will resist what the training aid wants it to do. And example of this is taking a lesson. How many times have you taken a golf lesson, your pro tells you to make a bigger backswing and you can’t?

The same goes with a golf training aid. You can use it all you want but if your body is resisting the proper mechanics, it will never achieve this new movement for optimal golf swing mechanics.

Once you’ve realized you need to work on your body, and you’ve purchased the right training aid for you, there is only one thing left.

Use it regularly!

The ONLY way you are going to see results is if you make a conscious effort to work with you new swing aid on a regular basis. I’m not talking about once every couple of weeks when the wind is blowing right that day! I’m talking about doing it daily for the first few weeks to ingrain your new swing moves.

If and only if you take this approach will you see results!

So many times I hear of golfers buying some training aid or new whiz-bang club, but never using it, therefore wasting their money. Don’t you do that! If you don’t use it, you won’t see results! End of story!

Be the small percent of the golfing population on a mission to make use of your new golf swing training aid. In the long run, you will be the one walking of the 18th tee with a smile on your face!

Why Taking A Golf Training System Isn’t Always The Answer – Part 2?

Now, the best and last 2 simple & proven ways to improve your golf on the course. Finding out your “physical and mental limitations” is the first step towards a lifelong better game of golf. Once you find out what is keeping you (which is quite easy) from making that perfect swing, you can set up a game plan to improve it.

It may be a flexibility or a matter of adjustment or changes and even mental issues, or it may be a strength issue. But either way, you have got to find out what it is. Even veteran golfers are not spared from this. Is golf training program really works?

The most common issue (especially for the older golfer) is flexibility. Not being able to rotate your body fully on the backswing (this may even injure your back or spine) , creating that power and torque for maximum clubhead speed.

If your back swing is cut short, you may even LOSE yards on your drives! And I say again; no amount of lessons or hitting balls will make that any better. You have got to do specific golf stretches to improve this limitation.

Now on the other side of these limiting factors is strength, specific to golf. And one of the most common limitations is weak the back of the upper leg. The role of this is critical.

It allows you to maintain your golf posture throughout the swing and for 18 holes. It prevents undo strain on your lower back. And can give you a steady, comfortable position while putting.

If your hamstrings are weak, I can almost say with certainty, you have got some low-back pain or injury. This is prevalent in older golfers and even the younger ones too.

Back pain is the number reason to keep a golfer from playing his or her best. Have you ever walked off the course with your back in pain? I am sure at one time or another you have.

You cannot just enjoy this game of golf, if your hamstring is weak. So, is there a solution for this without injuring your back and up your golf level.

Now do you think hitting more balls or taking more lessons will improve this? I think you know the answer.

If you have a difficult time, “staying in your swing”, it most definitely could be your posture. In order to maintain the forward flex in your upper body (golf posture), your hamstring need to have optimal strength (and flexibility).

If not, your hamstring will send a message to your brain saying, “get out of this position, I cannot hold it any longer”. Do you think his has ever happened to you? Your mind will not obey you and starts to do some movements that you cannot simply control.

So working on the physical side of your game improvement may be the missing link. I can assuredly tell you with this approach, your game WILL improve.

I guess it is doing some stretching exercises before the golf and of course go to a medical professionals to certify that you are fit to “twist and turn” your lowerback. You do not want to injure during the game and even lose to your golf partners, do you?

There is no doubt. Getting your body to move just a little better will make a huge difference in your ability to make an optimal swing for 18 holes. So before you take that next golf lesson, take a look at your BODY first!
